WORKSHOPS FOR BUSINESS AND THE THIRD SECTOR

These workshops draw on my experience and skills as an actor and writer. Below are some sessions I have delivered recently:

RECENT WORKSHOPS

PERFORMING (PRESENTATION SKILLS)
Performing is not about 'faking it' but creating something real. Performing means understanding what your voice, body and face are doing, how to ensure they communicate what you want them to, how to control them.
In this workshop, the focus is not on vocal projection or standing up straight (both important and actually covered in the workshop) but rather using the rules of acting which include:

• know your 'action' - what are you after?
• be in the moment 
• connect with the people around you

This session will help you convey your message in an authentic, clear and engaging manner.

DEVISING (TEAM BUILDING)
Devising, the process through which actors create a piece of work, often from scratch is an exemplar of collaboration.
In this all day workshop, participants will explore how lessons from the devising process can be applied to the corporate sector. Core principles of devising include:

• shared ownership
• ensemble driven
• flexible and reactive

Through different practical exercises, participants will learn the theory of devising and how it can bring the team at work together in the best mutually beneficial way.
