ACTOR

I have been an actor for over twenty five years, during which time I have worked across theatre, film, television and radio. Most recently I played Banquo at Tobacco Factory Theatres.

Theatre credits include Mama-ji in Life of Pi (directed by Max Webster) and La Fleche in The Miser (directed by Sean Foley), both in the West End; Tinkerbell in Peter Pan at The National Theatre and Ben Gunn in Treasure Island at Bristol Old Vic (both directed by Sally Cookson). Other plays at Bristol Old Vic include Arabian Nights (directed by Blanche McIntyre), A Child of Science (directed by Matthew Dunster) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (directed by Tom Morris). Other shows include Cinderella: A Fairytale and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves (both Tobacco Factory), A Fine Balance (Tamasha / Hampstead Theatre), East is East (Oldham Coliseum), Journey to the West (Tara Arts) and Romeo and Juliet (Settle Festival Theatre) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (New Wolsey Theatre) directed by Trevor Nunn.

My film and TV work includes Pennyworth (HBO), A Boy Called Christmas (Sky Films), Aladdin (Disney), This Must be the Place (Indigo Films), Apple Tree House (BBC), Trollied (Sky TV), The Choir (Sky Atlantic) and Being Human (BBC). On radio I played the regular part of Vinnie in Silver Street for the BBC Asian Network, appeared in The Archers and was part of the BBC Radio Drama Company. Other radio credits include Dracula, The Secret Agent, The Mahabharata, Broken English and My Name is Iqbal Masih.
